The sad news came from the City of Banjarbaru, South Kalimantan. After struggling for fifteen days undergoing intensive care in the isolation room of the Ulin Banjarmasin Hospital, the Mayor of Banjarbaru, Nadjmi Adhani, who was positive for COVID-19, died.
Nadjmi Adhani passed away on Monday (10 August 2020) at 02.30 am in the morning. Nadjmi Adhani died at Ulin Hospital, Banjarmasin, after receiving medical treatment in the ICU.
The news of grief immediately spread to a number of social media, and condolences poured in from various circles. Achmad Juhriansyah, a close relative of the deceased, conveyed this sad news to WhatsApp. He conveyed that the Mayor of Banjarbaru, the Mayor of Banjarbaru, Nadjmi Adhani, died Monday morning while being treated at the hospital.
Previously, the Mayor of Banjarbaru H Nadjmi Adhani received medical treatment in the ICU. The mayor’s health condition had reportedly improved, even though he continued to use a ventilator until 02.30 am news came that Nadjmi Adhani was breathing his last.
The Mayor of Banjarmasin, H Ibnu Sina, admitted that he was surprised and saddened by the departure of one of Banjarbaru’s best sons who was his close friend. Previously, he had a chance to chat via WA with the late Nadjmi Adhani who asked for prayers for his recovery. At that time the late Nadjmi Adhani was undergoing treatment in the ICU and was still in a stable condition.
