The Indonesian Teachers Association, representatives of Indragiri Hilir, Riau, submitt two books which were a collection of works by the Indonesian Teachers Association throughout Riau.
The book submission was received directly by the Secretary of the Indragiri Hilir Library Service, Feri Irawan, accompanied by the Head of the Library Administration, Nuraini, on Tuesday, August 11, 2020.
Feri Irawan admitted that he was very grateful for the concern of IGI Indragiri Hilir Representative for contributing to the development of regional libraries.
“We are very grateful for the Indonesian Teachers’ Association for submitting this book collection of the works of teachers throughout Riau,” said Feri.
He also hopes that in the future the Indonesian Teachers Association, Indragiri Hilir, will contribute more to the Indragiri Hilir regional library.
“Hopefully, what the Indragiri Hilir Indonesian Teachers Association is doing will also be followed by other organizations, so that in the future the regional library will be ‘rich’ in various works and can attract people to read Indragiri Hilir to visit the regional library,” hope Feri Irawan.
Meanwhile, Yarni and Wiryadane who are representatives of the Indonesian Teachers Association Indragiri Hilir explained that the submission of two books which were a collection of the works of teachers throughout Riau was in the context of 2019 National Teachers’ Day.
“This is the third place that we submitted the books, previously we also submitt them to the Education Office and Bank Riau-Kepri, they said.
They also admitted that they also planned to provide other works to be donated to the Indragiri Hilir Library and Archives Service.
“We hope that at least our work can be enjoyed by all Indragiri Hilir people and can motivate other teachers to work,” he said.
