East Java Police are investigating possible negligence in the explosion at the Bioetano factory.
More precisely, a factory called Energi Agro Nusantara (Enero) Comopany was sold out due to an explosion.
The factory is located in Gempolkrep Village, Gedeg District, Mojokerto Regency.
The East Java Police Forensic Laboratory Team (Labfor) came down to the location of the explosion.
This was done to determine the cause of the explosion which left one victim dead and 10 other workers experiencing burns.
Kapolresta Mojokerto, AKBP Deddy Supriyono said that his party had already conducted the initial crime scene (TKP) to determine the cause of the explosion.
Still said the Kapolresta, the construction and piping work was carried out by a company in collaboration with the company Perkebunan Nusantara (Persero) X Company.
The police are still making provisions regarding whether there are allegations of negligence in the construction project.
There were 11 victims in the explosion and fire at the PTPN X subsidiary.
One victim died from severe burns and 10 victims suffered serious burns.
The victim is a company worker who was invited by PT Enero to build the construction.
“There is no (victim from PT Enero). It was in production at that time but there were no casualties. Yes (fire in the dregs of Gempolkrep PG). “
“So PT Enero is adjacent to PTPN X where PTPTN X in the back is a pile of husks which is dry.”
“Yesterday there was a fire but the fire had been done. There were no (casualties),” he said.
