A crocodile measuring 3 meters which had troubled residents in the ditch of 18 Tasik Pilang Hamlet, Kuala Sebatu Village, Batang Tuaka District, Indragiri Hilir, Riau was finally arrested.
As said by local residents, these crocodiles often ride the land and roam near residential areas.
Batang Tuaka Police Head, Inspector Two Police Buha R Munthe said that his party, assisted by crocodile handlers and local residents, managed to catch the crocodile.
“Since a few days ago the residents reported that crocodiles often ride and roam, we finally called the crocodile handlers,” explained the Sector Police Chief.
