As a fiscal policy, in the midst of a pandemic, the 2020 Siak Regency Regional Revenue and Expenditure Budget is expected to be implemented in a credible, effective, and sustainable manner, so that it becomes a driving force for the stability of economic growth and the implementation of development towards an advanced and prosperous Siak Regency.
In this effort, the Siak Regency Government held a Virtual Coordination Meeting with the Ministry of Home Affairs regarding the optimization of the realization of the Siak Regency Regional Budget for the 2020 Fiscal Year, as well as the socialization of the Joint Movement for Wearing Masks for all levels of society as an effort to break the chain of Covid-19 spread. . Assistant I of the Regional Secretariat for Siak Regency, Budhi Yuwono, after participating in the event, said the importance of immediately optimizing the progress of the implementation of the 2020 Siak Regency Regional Budget.
“Even though during the pandemic period, which requires us to reduce activities, for the Regional Government it is very important to maximize the role of the Regional Apparatus Organization to immediately optimize the implementation of activities according to what the Minister of Home Affairs expected in the virtual meeting,” he said.
According to Budhi Yuwono, the Ministry of Home Affairs has issued various strategic policy steps to increase the absorption of the Regional Revenue and Expenditure Budget as a support for the regional and national economy.
“To optimize the absorption of the Regional Revenue and Expenditure Budget, the Minister of Home Affairs gave us directions to immediately take strategic steps that can directly touch the community, one of which is by optimizing cash-intensive programs at the village and village levels”, he explained.
On the next occasion, Budhi Yuwono, who also serves as Secretary of the Siak Regency Covid-19 Handling Task Force, said the virtual coordination meeting also discussed joint steps between the central and regional governments to socialize the Joint Movement to Wear Masks.
“Mr. Tito (Minister of Home Affairs Tito Karnavian) also discussed joint steps to socialize the Joint Wear Mask Movement. According to him, this movement was based on the lack of public awareness in obeying one of the health protocols, namely wearing a mask when leaving the house,” he explained.
Furthermore, he conveyed the direction of the Ministry of Home Affairs specifically for the implementation of the Gebrak Masks socialization, so that it should be carried out by all existing stakeholders, including Family Welfare Empowerment cadres, both at the central and regional levels.
“In accordance with the direction of the Minister of Home Affairs, the socialization of the Mask Gebrak should be carried out by all stakeholders at the central and regional levels. He also urged cadres of Family Welfare Empowerment to also actively socialize, of course we hope that later Family Welfare Empowerment cadres in the Regency Siak is also actively socializing Gebrak Masks to families and communities, “he hoped.
