But a little known fact is that he is on the verge of scoring 100 international goals. He is the 2nd person in the history of the beautiful game to do so. In the overall list, he is in 2nd spot with Iran’s Ali Daei who leads the pack with 109 goals in 149 appearances.
As information, Ronaldo currently has 99 goals in 164 games. Even his rival Lionel Messi is nowhere close with 70 goals to his name.
The Portuguese player turned 35 this year so he is in the twilight of his career.
