Dozens of houses located on Jalan M Boya Tembilahan, Indragiri Hilir, Riau were burned down, On Wednesday, August 12, 2020.
Losses from the incident were estimated at 1.8 billion IDR
The fire was known to have started at 11.00 AM, dozens of burning houses were located in the Sukun alley and the Nangka alley located on Jalan M Boya, Tembilahan.
The fire was successfully extinguished at around 01.00 PM.
Based on data from the Tembilahan Police, around 12 houses were sold out during the incident.
Tembilahan Sector Police Chief, First Police Inspector Leo Putra explained that the cause of the fire was not yet known.
“It is not yet certain, currently the identification is still being carried out by the Identification Unit of the Indragiri Hilir Police Criminal Investigation Unit and the Tembilahan Sector Police Criminal Investigation Unit,” he explained.
