Pekanbaru Police arrested 5 people who kidnapped a victim with the initials W (42).
Not only was W kidnapped, but W was also apparently abused by the perpetrators.
“Initially one person was arrested from 5 perpetrators. Then it was developed to catch other perpetrators.”
“During the kidnapping, the victim was suspected of being mistreated,” said the Head of Pekanbaru Police, Kombes Nandang Mu’min Wijaya to detikcom, Saturday (15 August 2020).
Nandang explained, the 5 perpetrators were all men who were arrested last Thursday (6 August).
The victim is a resident of Jl Lokomotif Tanjung Rhu Village, Limapuluh District, Pekanbaru.
The perpetrators were S (40) and DM (28) YM (40) residents of Bukit Raya Pekanbaru District.
The three kidnappers were known to be recidivists. The other two actors were the initials JA (40) and HS (38).
Nandang explained that the kidnapping took place on June 30, 2020.
At that time, the victim was visited by 5 well-built people he did not know.
The perpetrators came in an Avanza car and some on a motorbike.
The perpetrator locked the victim in a house on Jl Sudirman Pekanbaru.
During the kidnapping, the victim’s family received a message from someone that the victim had been secured by the police.
Nandang said that this case was initially revealed by the victim’s child, who suddenly received a message on July 15 that the family sent Rp. 5 million for the victim’s medical expenses.
Suspicious of the message, the victim’s child then reported it to the police.
