Hesty shared the unique story of her marriage with Bak Sungwon on her YouTube channel Hebak CUCI.

She also answered netizens’ curiosity about her decision to open the hijab at his wedding reception with Bak Sungwon.
Hesty and Sungwon held a wedding in Indonesia on November 9, 2019.
And on November 24, 2019, the two of them held another wedding reception in her husband’s home country in South Korea.
This 28-year-old woman shared how she got acquainted with Sungwon.
They met in December 2017 through an online matchmaking application.
After getting to know each other from a distance, in March 2018, Sungwon came to Indonesia to meet him.
And not long after that around mid-2018, Sungwon opened a conversation that led to marriage.
This woman wearing a hijab doesn’t believe that she will marry someone from abroad.
After a year of establishing LDR, Sungwon came to Indonesia again in April 2019.
And the man immediately asked permission from Hesty’s parents to marry their daughter.
“Like parents in general, they want to know first how their future husband’s child is.”
“So he was interviewed first. After finishing the interview, my father.”
“My father asked to meet his parents first. He wants to know his parents directly.”
“When he was in Indonesia, he was also the one who encouraged me to let me graduate quickly.”

After one month of living in Indonesia, Sungwon returned to Korea.
And at that time Sungwon’s parents had asked Hesty to come to Korea to prepare for the wedding.
However, Hesty did not get permission from her father because they were not married.
Until 9 November 2019, Hesty and Sungwon were married in Indonesia. And after the event ended, Sungwon returned to Korea with his parents.
“At that time I could not immediately follow my husband to Korea because my visa had not yet been completed. My visa only became 1 week after that.”
“And on November 14, 2019, I followed my husband to Korea,” said the woman whose YouTube channel Hebak CUCI already has more than six thousand subscribers.
