Welcoming the 75th Anniversary of the Republic of Indonesia, the elements of the Indragiri Hilir regional leadership coordination forum held a ceremony of honor and holy devotions at exactly 00.00 WIB at the tomb garden of the hero Yudha Bhakti, Jalan Telaga Biru Parit 7 Tembilahan Hulu, Inhil district, Indragiri Hilir on Sunday, August, 16 2020 evening.
Acting as ceremony inspectors, Dandim 0314 / Inhil Lt. Col. Inf Imir Faishal, Commander of the Ceremony, Lettu Inf Delmy and Paup Kapten Inf Riswanto.
Also attending were Inhil Regent HM Wardan, Inhil Police Chief, AKBP Dian Styawan, Chairman of the Inhil DPRD, Feryandi, Kasiswa Tembilahan represented by Yoyok Prasetyo, Head of Tembilahan District Court, Nurmala Sinurat and Head of the Tembilahan Religious Court, Endang Rosmala.
The ceremony of honor and sacred meditation is carried out by still paying attention to the covid-19 protocol.
The ceremony looked solemn ‘praying for the spirits of the heroes who had died in fighting for independence.
Apart from being a form of respect, according to the Regent, this activity which is routinely carried out every time commemorating the anniversary of the Proclamation of the Republic of Indonesia is a form of gratitude for the struggles of heroes who have sacrificed body and soul for independence.
“Thanks to the sacrifice of soul, body and blood as well as everything from our heroes, thank God, we are able to win independence and tonight’s activities are a form of our gratitude,” said Regent Inhil.
The Regent also added that in the midst of the Covid-19 pandemic, every activity must comply with the hard-earned health and independence protocol that must be filled with development for the benefit and welfare of the community.
“This is a step to continue the ideals of the hero struggle that have preceded us. Filling independence with development for the interests and welfare of the community, especially the Inhil community and more broadly for the nation within the Unitary Republic of Indonesia,” said the Regent.
Meanwhile, Dandim 0314 / Inhil Lieutenant Colonel Inf Imir Faishal said the Apple of Honor was a form of respect for the services of the heroes who had died in seizing and fighting for the independence of the Republic of Indonesia.
Besides that, this is also an activity to grow and motivate us to build the country in filling independence.
