Video of an ambulance carrying a patient blocked by a car until the patient died due to late arrival at the hospital went viral on social media.
The video uploaded by a Facebook account called Fauzi took place in Garut, West Java.
Since being uploaded on Facebook on August 14, 2020, the video has received a lot of comments from netizens and not a few netizens have criticized the car driver’s actions.
In his upload, Fauzi said the Leles Puskesmas ambulance carrying a child patient was blocked by a blue Kijang car.
Apart from blocking the speed of the ambulance, Fauzi also said that the Kijang car driver invited the ambulance driver to race on the road.
“For the blue Kijang car, which was blocking the speed of the ambulance, instead inviting racing, small children to the hospital died,” wrote Fauzi.
According to Fauzi, when the ambulance was blocked by the Kijang car, the patient’s condition was critical because of a broken blood vessel.
“The ambulance only asked for a minute to be given a way,” he said.
A number of netizens busy blaspheming the Kijang car driver.
“I really don’t have a heart. Imagine the one in the family ambulance, ”wrote Intan Novita Sari.
As of Sunday, August 16 2020, the video of the ambulance being blocked by the Kijang car uploaded by Fauzi has been commented on by 362 netizens and shared 885 times.
