During the Covid-19 pandemic, the Siak Regency Government held a Commemoration Ceremony for the 75th Anniversary of Independence of the Republic of Indonesia in 2020 which took place solemnly and simply, of course by continuing to apply the Health Protocol, at the Ceremony Field of the Siak Regent’s Office.
The 75th anniversary of the Republic of Indonesia was led directly by the Regent of Siak Alfedri, who acted as the Inspector of the ceremony, with the Commander of the Ceremony by the Head of the Siak District, T Indra Putra. This ceremony was also attended by the chairman of the Siak Asmi Regional People’s Representative Council, Acting Regional Secretary Siak Jamaludin, Chairman of the Siak District Prosecutor’s Office, Chairman of the Court, Head of the Siak Class II Prison, Members of the Indonesian National Army, Chair of the Riau Siak Traditional Malay Institute, Assistants, Veterans and Head of Apparatus Organizations Areas within the Siak Regency Government.
When met after the ceremony, Regent Siak Alfedri said, the implementation of the 75th Anniversary of the Republic of Indonesia in 2020 is a little different from the previous year, because indeed the atmosphere of the Covid-19 pandemic must carry out Social Distancing.
“Of course, by commemorating the Independence Day, we become children of the Indonesian nation who love our homeland more, have a high spirit of patriotism and nationalism, so that we are eager to fight to fill the independence that the fighters and founders of this country have fought for and defended,” he said.
On this independence day, he continued, in the future we will certainly focus more on achieving the vision and mission that has been designed for the five years 2016-2021.
“We have to finish this properly in accordance with the expectations of the community, so that people really feel the presence of the local government in providing the best service, and advancing this area for public health. The point is how we increase the competitiveness of regional development” he said.
At the end of the ceremony, the Siak Regent, accompanied by the Chairman of the Siak Regional People’s Representative Council, and the Deputy Chairman of the Siak Regional People’s Representative Council, presented various awards from the Siak Regency Government when they were honored the 75th Independence of the Republic of Indonesia, including giving remissions to class II B prisoners. As many as 82 Siak people received general remissions and 4 people received additional general remissions, then the Satya work badge honors award, and the submission of death guarantees to the heirs of non-State Civil Servants State Secretariat Regional Secretariat of Siak Regency and non State Civil Servants Police Unit Each of the Civil Service Officers received a nominal assistance of 42,000,000 from the Manpower Social Security Administering Body.
Furthermore, the symbolic submission of the Employment Social Security Administering Body cards to 2678 RT / RK workers throughout Siak Regency for the assistance of the Riau Kepri Corporate Social Responsibility dues, the Award for Cooperatives and Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises, Budget Achievements in 2020, Awards to the Head of Sub-District and Pengulu Caring for Koprasi Siak Regency Level in 2020, as well as an award for the Best Field Cooperative Extension Officer at the Siak Regency level.
