Vanessa Angel came to the West Jakarta Kejari to undergo compulsory reporting as a city prisoner.
Vanessa will also soon undergo trial regarding the psychotropic case that caught her.
“The suspect Vanessa Angel came to the West Jakarta District Prosecutor’s Office at around 09.30 am to fulfill the obligation to report as a city detainee,” said Head of Intelligence for West Jakarta Attorney General Edwin I Beslar, in his statement, Wednesday (19 August 2020).
Furthermore, the West Jakarta Prosecutor’s Office will also submit Vanessa’s indictment file to the West Jakarta District Court.
In the near future, the West Jakarta District Court will determine the trial schedule.
Previously, the police named Vanessa Angel as a suspect in a psychotropic case with a sentence of up to 6 years in prison.
However, the police made her a city prisoner for several considerations, one of which is the current situation that is being hit by the Corona outbreak.
