The mysterious case of 15 crew members abandoned in a luxury house in Garut
15 crew members (ABK) were found stranded in starvation conditions in a luxury house in Cipanas, Garut.
They have been neglected and their salaries have not been fully paid by the agency.
The 15 crew members were fishing boat crews who worked in Taiwan from 2017 to 2020.
According to the contract, they have finished work. However, their salaries have not yet been paid by the company.
They also have not received the remaining salary from the company agency PT Gafa Samudra Abadi with different nominal values.
Starting from IDR 30 million to IDR 136 million.
The figure of the company boss with the initials SH alias Alex is now under the spotlight.
He is considered as the person who must be responsible for this incident.
Detikcom spoke with Ade Nurdin, the head of the RT at Alex’s luxury house, Tegal Jambu Village, Tarogong Kaler.
Ade admitted that he was surprised that the man who was familiarly called Boss Alex was caught in a problem. This is because Alex is known as a good citizen.
Alex himself is known to be an immigrant resident there. He is known to come from Cirebon.
Ade admitted that he did not expect Alex’s boss to abandon his men.
This is because he, as the head of the Neighborhood, is also not too familiar with the residents of Alex’s mansion.
In line with Ade, one of the neighbors, Hajah Yulia (53), expressed the same thing.
Yulia said she was surprised to find out that Alex’s boss was in trouble.
“I wonder why these children owe up to IDR 17 million to my shop. It turns out that their salaries have not been paid, he said, up to hundreds of millions,” he said.
Alex is known as the boss of the king of heart among the crew.
Arifin Sastranegara, one of the crew members, said Alex often hired local thugs so that the crew members did not dare to ask about salary issues.
Arifin added that he and his friends hoped that their salaries would soon be paid by the company.
In addition, Arifin asked the police to arrest Alex and be punished for his actions.
