A man named Abdul Razak got attention on social media when a photo of him carrying an infant’s dead body started doing the rounds. The man who first worked as a tea-shop owner-turned-volunteer, and he has been helping families conduct the last rites of COVID-19 victims.
That sad photo was taken by netizen while he out from St John’s hospital. At that time, Razak was taking the infant’s body to the cremation ground.
Razak, the 40-year-old told, “The little girl from West Bengal had some kidney problems, she was admitted to St John’s hospital. And the infant gets hospitalized and turned COVID-positive.”
