Starting his duties as Chief of the Indragiri Hilir Resort Police, Adjunct Senior Commissioner Dian Setyawan invited the media crew to drink coffee together at night, on Friday, August 21, 2020.
Taking place at one of the cafes in Tembilahan City, this activity was also attended by the Military District Commander 0314 / Indragiri Hilir Lt. Col. Inf Imir Faishal, Chairman of the Indragiri Hilir Regional People’s Representative Council, Ferryandi, Kasiswa Indragiri Hilir H Susilo, and Chairman of Granat Indragiri Hilir, Zakaria.
Indragiri Hilir Police Chief, Adjunct Senior Commissioner of Police Dian Setyawan, said if having coffee with the police was to build a good friendship to create intimacy between law enforcers and Insan Pers.
“This gathering is expected to be a good relationship between the Press and law enforcers in Indragiri Hilir. We are partners so we must establish good communication together,” explained Adjunct Senior Commissioner of Police Dian Setyawan.
The meeting was relaxed and occasionally accompanied by laughter. From the members of the press, there were organizations from the Online Journalists Association, the Indonesian Journalists Association, the Independent Journalist Alliance, and the Indragiri Hilir Journalist Communication Forum which consists of online, print, and electronic media.
Indragiri Hilir Police Chief, Indragiri Hilir Military District Command Commander, Indragiri Hilir Regional Representative Council Chairperson, and K Guru Indragiri Hilir and Insan Pers agree that establishing good relations can strengthen good relations between people.
“We thank you for the presence of fellow Press personnel in this gathering and face-to-face meeting. Hopefully this kind of activity, this kind of friendship can be continued,” said the Chief of Police of the Indragiri Hilir Resort Police.
