Two children who are still in elementary school are victims of sexual abuse in Surabaya.
Sadly, the perpetrator is a person who is known to always say the call to prayer or muezzin at the place of worship where the victim learns.
According to police officers from the Surabaya Polrestabes Women and Children Service Unit (PPA),
the perpetrator molested the two boys at the place of worship because the victim arrived early.
Moreover, places of worship are still quiet.
According to Fauzi, the perpetrator also committed another lecherous act against the same victim.
Even though the two victims have experienced trauma and are always alone after being molested by the perpetrator.
It is known that the perpetrator with the initials BAH (53), a resident from Sampang, Madura, has migrated to Surabaya.
The Police Inspector One, Fauzy Pratama also said that the perpetrator was found to have committed obscene acts twice.
First the two victims and then one previous victim.
“A few days later, this perpetrator repeated his actions, but to one of the victims.
“In fact, according to the perpetrator’s confession, after molesting the victim, the suspect gave IDR 3,000,” he said.
Meanwhile, according to examination data, the incidence of sexual abuse began in May 2020 at around 03:15 pm.
Then the second incident on Monday (10 August 2020) around 03.30 pm.
After giving the money, the suspect also threatened not to tell anyone about it.
As a result of the threat, the victim was terrified and ran to the house.
“At that time, the victim’s parents knew that their child was frightened and received stories of obscene acts. The victim’s parents then reported it to the PPA Unit,” said Fauzy.
Currently, the perpetrator has been arrested and detained at the Surabaya Police Headquarters.
