One of the 23 people who forcibly picked up the corpse positive for Corona (COVID-19) in Batam, Riau Islands (Kepri), smeared the body’s saliva on his face.
The resident who salivated the body is still being sought.
The Batam Health Office initially picked up 23 people who were involved in the forced collection of the bodies.
They were picked up to undergo an examination at the Galang Island COVID-19 Special Hospital.
Of the 23 people, the Batam City COVID-19 Task Force stated 12 of them were positive for the Coronavirus in a release given on Saturday, midnight.
In the release of the Task Force, 12 residents who tested positive for COVID-19 who were involved in the forced collection of the bodies were recorded as cases 455 to 467.
In detail, six of them are male and female students aged 11-16 years.
Then three private workers aged 40 years, 21 years, and 60 years.
Two housewives aged 51 years and 67 years, as well as an entrepreneur aged 44 years.
All of them reside in Sekupang District.
However, the Health Office is still looking for a resident who was involved in the forced collection of YHG’s body.
The resident is known to smear the body’s saliva on his face.
