As many as 500 new students of the University of Indragiri Islamic are welcoming new students for the 2020/2021 academic year, Wednesday, 26 August 2020.
All new students took part in the first stage of the new student welcoming activity known as the online Academic Recognition Activity.
In the implementation of the Academic Recognition Activity, attended by the Trustees of the Tasik Gemilang Unisi Foundation, the Chairperson of the Tasik Gemilang Foundation, the Chancellor of the Islamic University of Indragiri, the Deputy Chancellors, the Dean of the Unisi environment, the Head of the Indragiri Islamic University Environmental Study Program, along with the entire academic community at the University of Indragiri Islamic.
The Chancellor of the University of Indragiri Islamic, Dr. H Najamuddin Lc MA said that in difficult situations such as during the Covid-19 pandemic, it is hoped that new students will not give up and remain alert to develop their best potential while at the Islamic University of Indragiri.
“Welcome. Welcome to join the big family of Indragiri Islamic University. You are all special especially when it comes to this atmosphere. ” said Najamuddin.
Meanwhile, the Chairperson of the Tasik Gemilang Foundation represented by the Deputy Chairperson of the Tasik Gemilang Foundation H Zayadi also welcomed the Academic Introduction Activity which was held online even amid a pandemic situation.
“We hope that students can also follow it well. This kind of orientation is an adaptation process in the context of new student admissions, campus introduction, learning culture, student activities, procedures and campus regulations and regulations which are implemented virtually,” said H Zayadi while opening officially the Academic Introduction of the University of Indragiri Islamic for the 2020/2021 academic year.
