Increased 7 Positive Covid-19 Patients, Now Total Patients Become 301 People

The Covid-19 cases in Siak Regency have increased again. The government announced that as many as 7 people had tested positive as of Thursday afternoon 27 August 2020.

Now a total of 301 positive cases of Covid-19 in Siak Regency during the pandemic era.

Secretary of the Siak Regency Covid-19 Handling Task Force, Budhi Yuwono, explained that of the 301 cases, 111 patients were still being treated, 186 patients recovered and 4 people died.

“Treated at Eka Hospital (Pekanbaru) 59 people, Awal Bros Sudirman Hospital (Pekanbaru) 2 people, Tengku Rafian (Siak) Regional General Hospital 30 people, Hajj Dormitory (Siak) 5 people, Arifin Ahmad Regional General Hospital (Pekanbaru) ) 3 people, Awal Bros Ahmad Yani Hospital (Pekanbaru) 11 people, Bengkalis Regional General Hospital 1 person, “said Budhi in his press statement.

Budhi listed 11 additional positive patients as follows:

1. The 295th patient confirmed positive for Covid-19 is Mrs. AS (29), a resident of Tualang District. Currently isolated and treated at Siak Hospital. Mrs. AS was a close contact of the 234th patient Mr. RA (36).
2. The 296th patient is An. FNA (3), a resident of Tualang District. Currently, it has been treated and isolated by the Siak Regional General Hospital. An. FNA was a close contact of the 234th patient Mr. RA (36).
3. The 297th patient is Mr. UN (47), a resident of Tualang District. Currently, it has been treated and isolated by RS Eka Hospital Pekanbaru. Mr. UN is a close contact of the 69th patient Mr. A (44).
4. The 298th patient is Mr. EEF (33), a resident who lives in an employee mess in Tualang District. Currently, it has been treated and isolated by RS Eka Hospital Pekanbaru. Mr. EEF is the result of screening carried out by companies in Perawang.
5. The 299th patient is Mr. MS (47), a resident who lives in Minas District. Currently, it has been isolated in the company complex. Mr. MS is the result of a screening conducted by the company.
6. The 300th patient is An. NMP (14), a resident of Minas District. Currently, it has been isolated in the company complex. An NMP is a result of screening carried out by companies in Minas.
7. The 301 patient is Mr. ST (26), a resident who lives in Tualang District. Currently, he has been treated and isolated at Awal Bros Ahmad Yani Hospital Pekanbaru. Mr. ST did an independent swab then the result was positive.

Meanwhile, the good news is that today there is 1 patient who is declared cured with details:

1. Patient 227 Ny.N (43) from the Tengku Rafian Siak Regional General Hospital.

As positive cases of Covid-19 increase in Siak Regency, Budhi appealed to the public to comply with government recommendations in implementing health protocols. He invited people to always wear masks, wash their hands diligently, avoid crowds, and maintain a healthy lifestyle. (Adv)
