The Indragiri Hilir Regency Government, Riau is currently preparing a regent regulation regarding fines for not implementing health protocols.
This fine will be applied to both individuals and business actors. For individuals who are prepared from verbal warnings to paying IDR 100,000 if they do not use a mask.
As for business actors, they are given sanctions in the form of verbal warnings and administrative sanctions with fines of IDR 1 million or terminating, closing or sealing their business premises.
Representing the Regent of Indragiri Hilir, HM Wardan, Assistant 1 to the Indragiri Hilir Regency Government, Tantawi Jauhari chaired the preparation meeting for the Regent’s regulation.
Also attending the meeting of the Military District Command Commander 0314 / Indragiri Hilird represented by Major Inf. Untung Kusmanto, the Chief of the Resort Police was represented by Adjunct Commissioner of Police A Raymon Tarigan, K Guru Indragiri Hilir Ririn Tri Ningsih, Daily Executive of the Indragiri Hilir Regional Disaster Management Agency, Hardewan Arif, Office of the Harbormaster and Port Said Authority, Ministry of Religion Indragiri Hilir, Head of Services and Heads of Divisions within the Indragiri Hilir Regency Government were also present at the meeting.
As explained by the Chief of Staff of the Military District Command 0314 / Indragiri Hilir Major Inf. Untung Kusmanto, the decision had been agreed upon.
“The sanctions are divided into two, namely for individuals and business actors. For individuals, they are subject to administrative sanctions in the form of verbal warnings following the violation, prohibitions from entering the location of community activities or crowds, and a fine of 100 thousand rupiahs and for business actors subject to sanctions of up to Rp1 million. “said Chief of Staff of the Military District Command, Major Inf. Untung Kusmanto.
