Since 2018 the Regional Regulation for the Warehouse Receipt System has been passed, but until now the implementation of the Warehouse Receipt System has not been implemented.
As explained by the Head of Indragiri Hilir Trade and Industry Service, Dhoan Dwi Anggar, this is because the warehouse located in Trench 21 Tembilahan is still not up to standard.
“We already have warehouses at parit 21, there are 3 warehouses. But it’s only just having a warehouse, “explained Dhoan.
He said that many things must be in the warehouse, such as one that must have a temperature controller.
“There are many standards that must be completed, the permit will not be issued if the building is not standardized,” said Dhoan.
