Students of 2020 Thematic Community Service Program, Indragiri Islamic University in Pekan Arba Village also cares for victims whose houses were damaged by hurricanes.
They handed over aid to the victims and provided mask assistance as a step to prevent the spread of the Covid-19 virus.
Mai Fitri, the head of her group, the Pekan Arba Village Community Service Program, said that the assistance was the result of a joint fund for all members of the Pekan Arba Real Work Lecture.
He hopes that the assistance provided by him and his colleagues can be useful to help reduce the burden on hurricane victims.
“We hope that this little assistance we provide can help ease the burden on the victims to rebuild their houses which collapsed due to the hurricane,” hoped Mai Fitri.
