In a tragic incident, a mother from Thailand share the tragic news of her daughter’s passing to Facebook on 30 August 2020.
She told if her daughter died after she was given a vaccine for cervical cancer. As we know, Thailand’s Ministry of Health has a cervical cancer vaccination policy for all fifth graders. It makes to ensures the health of their youth.
Then, she explained that her 11-year-old child went to school but had a fever. She also told that her daughter’s school had an activity to give vaccinations for cervical cancer for the girl students.
A doctor didn’t take her body temperature. Hence, he didn’t know she had a fever and proceeded to inject her with the vaccine, when the girl’s turn to be vaccinated.
Then, in the heartbreaking post, the mother told, ““My daughter developed angina, vomited, and later died”
As information, angina is a condition when chest pains caused when the heart muscle does not receive enough oxygenated blood.
“My child had no underlying disease. She was healthy as usual. Please help me share this case,” penned the grieving parent in her post.
For that case, netizens in Thailand expressed their condolences to the deceased child’s parents. But they also asked why the doctor didn’t test or ask the child for symptoms of other diseases before vaccinating her.
