IOS and Android users will be able to get the latest information about Coronavirus without downloading the app
Apple and Google have added new capacity to the Covid-19 contact tracing tool that will help Public Health Authorities (PHAs) track and alert users to coronavirus infections so no app is built to do so it can.
The tech giant’s new Exposure Notification Express capability will provide the tech giant with simpler dissemination of regional risk information while enabling residents to choose the system more easily.
Since the launch of Apple and Google’s Exposure Notifications System (ENS) in May, PHA has been accrediting and providing solutions to support contact tracing efforts with automated call notifications around the world. So far, more than 20 countries and territories have published applications using ENS and in the United States, six states (VA, ND, WY, AL, AZ, and NV) have already done so.

The two companies conducted more than a hundred technical briefings in the United States with state public health officials, state epidemiologists, and authorized app developers. He has also consulted with the Center for Disease Control, the CDC Foundation, the Public Laboratory Association, the American Public Health Association, and other public health officials.
The exposure notification is based on input from Express State PHA, and this new offering from Apple and Google is designed to help PHA faster and provide easier information to potential residents about potential exposures to Kovid-19.
There will be no need for a PHA to use this new capability to create its own applications as it allows both companies to provide recommendations on potential assignments through PHA, guidelines for residents, and an easy-to-use interface. Apple and Google can provide the information, and then use that information to provide a complete operational risk information system to iOS and Android users.
After upgrading to iOS 13.7, a notification will be shown to iPhone users in states that use this new capability to inform them that their status now has exposure notifications. When you click on this notification, they will be able to turn on this feature without downloading the app. This process works the same way on Google’s Android OS.
