Ten children were killed by lightning in the Ugandan city of Arua after sheltering in a hut when a rainstorm hit.
The children were playing ball when the heavy rain hit.
Then they rested in a building near the grass that was struck by lightning.
Nine children, aged 13 to 15, died on the spot. Meanwhile, another child died on the way to the hospital.

Uganda’s northwestern region experiences heavy rain coupled with thunder and lightning.
It is the worst lightning accident in Uganda since 2011 when 18 children were killed at a school in the central-western region.
