Member of the Regional Representative Council of Riau Province, Dani M Nursalam, visited several patients from Indragiri Hilir who were being treated at the Arifin Ahmad Regional General Hospital, Pekanbaru, on Tuesday, September 1, 2020 morning.
There are two patients from Indragiri Hilir who are currently undergoing treatment at the Arifin Ahmad Regional General Hospital, Pekanbaru.
One such patient is Zakaria (55), a resident of Parit 1, Kota Baru, Keritang District.
According to the former chairman of the Indragiri Hilir Regional House of Representatives, a day before he visited the Arifin Ahmad Regional General Hospital, he received information that a patient referred by the Health Employment Social Security Administration from Indragiri Hilir, named Zakaria, did not receive the proper service.
A growing issue said that Zakaria was neglected and not served by the hospital.
“Last night, I immediately coordinated with the Director of Arifin Ahmad Hospital, and the hospital said it was not like that. The patient has already got a room and is now undergoing treatment. This morning, I also visited him, ensuring that he was served by the party. hospital, “said Deputy Chairman of Commission IV of the Regional Representative Council of Riau Province.
On that occasion, the Head of the Branch Representative Council of the National Awakening Party, Indragiri Hilir, advised the Arifin Ahmad Regional General Hospital, Pekanbaru to always pay attention and ensure that patients, especially underprivileged patients who are referrals from regions, such as Zakaria, receive excellent service.
Besides that, Dani also took the time to visit another patient who was a community leader in Tanah Merah District, Indragiri Hilir Regency, namely Abdul Majid.
“Mr. Majid has just finished surgery. He had thyroid cancer yesterday. He is currently recovering from surgery. Hopefully, he will recover soon and be as healthy as before,” he said.
During the visit, Dani, who came alone, also had time to chat with each patient’s family about the patient’s condition. After the visit, Dani returned to his routine as a member of the Regional Representative Council of Riau Province.
