The Regent of Indragiri Hilir, HM Wardan, who was accompanied by the Head of the Regional Finance and Asset Agency, received a working visit from the Head of the Pekanbaru Search and Relief Office at the Regent’s Office on Wednesday, September 2, 2020.
Head of the Pekanbaru National Search and Relief Agency Office, Ishak, is accompanied by the Head of the General England sub-division and the Tembilahan search and rescue post office, Rio Putra and the ranks of the Pekanbaru Search and Rescue Office.
The Regent said that he welcomed the visit of the Head of the Pekanbaru Search and Relief Office.
He hopes that this visit can improve the relationship that has been going well so far.
Given that the Indragiri Hilir area is mostly water, the Regent said that Indragiri Hilir is prone to disasters at sea.
“For this reason, with the National Search and Rescue Agency personnel on standby in Indragiri Hilir, hopefully, the disaster can be resolved as early as possible,” said HM Wardan.
Meanwhile, Head of the Pekanbaru National Search and Relief Agency, Ishak said the visit to Indragiri Hilir was to gather. Because, during his tenure as Head of the Pekanbaru National Search and Relief Agency Office which has been running for seven months, he said this was the first time he had visited Indragiri Hilir.
“For that, ask for support from the Indragiri Hilir Regency Government in various Search And Rescue activities in the Indragiri Hilir area,” he hoped.
He also added, considering that Indragiri Hilir has a large area, in the future, he will add six personnel who are currently on standby at Indragiri Hilir.
