Recently Apple and Google have announced their latest system that helps contact tracing without having to download an application using a smartphone.
The new system is called the Exposure Notifications Express where public health authorities will send a small configuration file to Apple and Google.
Apple and Google will set up a system so that smartphone users know they are close to someone positive for COVID-19.
On the iPhone, with the new version of iOS it allows users to without downloading a new application while on an Android device, the user has to download an auto-generated application.
In the United States, the cities of Maryland, Nevada, Virginia, and Washington DC will be the first to use the new system.
