A video about eight men did a sexually assaulting with a teen who appeared on Facebook. The sexual assault occurred at a party last December to a 16-year-old girl.
One of them is still at large.
The girl told that she only remember was a man holding her down on a bed and pouring Hennessey down her throat. Then, she being naked in a shower, with 15 men laughing.
As cited News24xx.com from the Boston Globe, the girl woke up with vaginal pain and cuts on her thighs.
Then, someone posted the video in June 2020 about the rape, and the victim’s mother found it and tell the Providence police, which broke the case open. Because before the video, the case was a bit stymied.
Providence Police Major David Lapatin told the Globe, “The video was more than enough to see the crime and identify the culprits.”
After the investigation, police arrested Richard Tarell Chester, 20, of Seekonk, Mass, Luis Cabrera, 19, Jose Vargas, 19, Erving Keith Colon, 25, Malcolm Baptista, 19, and Luis N. Luna, 19, of Providence.
They arrested and charged with assault with intent to commit first-degree sexual assault on a person who was mentally incapacitated. But, police were still seeking Carlos Vasquez, 19, of Providence.
