A pregnant woman in Victoria was arrested for conducting a live broadcast organizing an anti-lockdown protest.
The woman named Zoe Buhler said she did not realize that what she was doing was wrong.
She asked people to meet in Ballarat, west of Melbourne, to protest against the lockdown restrictions.
Suddenly the live stream on Facebook went viral.
She also apologized for her mistake.
Police arrived at the 28-year-old woman’s home in Ballarat yesterday afternoon.
Facing the media in the same pajamas this morning, Buhler said she was “fighting for human rights” and he created an online protest event because she was worried about the repercussions of the lockdown.
“I’m just a passionate person and I’m sick of locks up,” she said.
Zoe Buhler said police were “nice enough” to her following her arrest.
Ms. Buhler has since been charged with sedition and released on bail.
He is scheduled to appear at Ballarat Magistrate Court in January.
