“Abuse of minors,” said the uploader of the video, Wednesday (September 2, 2020) afternoon.
In the video it appears, the mother repeatedly whips the tube at the victim in anger.
The woman’s words were clearly heard in the video recording.
The violence against children was said to have occurred in Talok Village, Turen District, Malang Regency, Tuesday (1 September).
The Malang Police Satreskrim together with Turen Polsek identified women and children who were suspected of being victims of violence.
The Malang Police have also interrogated MA, the mother who whipped her child. The victim and her father were also examined.
Malang Police Chief AKBP Hendri Umar said that the violence occurred when MA was teaching the victim mathematics.
Either because he was tired or wanted to play immediately, the victim did not concentrate on following the learning method taught by his mother.
“So it has been taught many times, but the child doesn’t understand,” explained Hendri.
Because they were emotional, Hendri continued, the perpetrator then took a tube and hit or lashed the victim’s legs three times.
Not only that, but the perpetrator also bit the victim’s right hand once.
