The Corona pandemic has forced schools in India to be closed to prevent transmission of the virus.
Children also fill in learning activities during the pandemic from mural paintings on the walls.
As reported by AFP on Thursday (3 September 2020), half a dozen children gathered around their teacher pointing out sticks on a diagram on the wall.
One of the many murals in the neighborhood was used to help poor students follow their education during the Corona virus pandemic.
The closure of schools since March due to the Corona lockdown, teachers in Nilamnagar, western India, are worried that some children will be left behind because their families cannot afford to subscribe to the internet for online classes.
So they found a solution so that children like to play on the streets.
So, they will take lessons outside.
Every day, small groups gather on the painted walls on alternative routes in the village of more than 30,000 people.
So far, 250 of the walls in the village have been painted by local artists, and the school hopes to get another 200.
