Stunning! Even Though It has been Stored for 106 Years, This Food is still Intact and Delicious
Every food product has an expiration date that determines the last time it was eaten.
Usually if it is approaching or even past that date, the quality will change.
For example, the appearance of food that has begun to crumble, the smell of stale and the taste changes.
However, not some of these foods.
Those that remain intact, almost nothing has changed in appearance despite being stored for so many years.
Like cheese that is stored for 24 years, burgers for 24 years, to fruitcakes that are 106 years old.
There are even foods that are still delicious to eat even though they have expired.
Reporting from several sources, here are 5 lists of these foods:
1. Burger That Kept 24 Years
Through a video, a grandmother shows a form of food that is still preserved even though it has been stored for years.
The food is in the form of a package of burgers and fries purchased from Mc Donald’s fast food restaurant.
The video was uploaded on TikTok @aly.sherb.
In the video, the grandmother tells that she first bought the burger and fries in 1996.
The burger and fries are stored in a white box.
After 24 years later, the grandmother tried to open the box.
However, how surprising it was when the grandmother saw that the burger and fries did not change shape at all.
The bun is still smooth without mushrooms, it’s just a dry texture.
Likewise with the patty meat.
2. 25 Years Old Pastry
In England there was a similar incident.
Experienced by a woman who found a packaged pastry.
Unexpectedly, the pastry was 25 years old. At first the woman was cleaning her refrigerator.
Then he found a pastry package with the words, “Good before March 95”.
However, the pastry found was surprisingly still good to eat.
From the looks of it, the pastry had no mushrooms at all.
By his mother, the pastry was restated by adding ice cream and slices of strawberry.
When eaten by his mother, the pastry still tasted good.
3. Fruitcake Durable Stored 106 Years
This fruitcake, which is still preserved for 106 years, was found in Antarctica, the coldest region on earth.
At that time a research team found a fruitcake pan.
Reporting from Foxnews, the fruitcake was an expedition program in 1899.
The cake is stored hidden in a tin container complete with wrapping paper.
When opened, the cake was completely undamaged. The surface even looks like a new cake.
However, the aroma that comes out of this fruitcake is like stale butter.
This cake is included in the artifacts or historical relics of approximately 1,500 other artifacts that have been found.
