A total of 50 personnel of Police Indragiri Hilir underwent the Covid-19 swab test on Tuesday, Sept. 7, 2020.
The activities are carried out to ensure the health condition of personnel.
The purpose of the swab test was to prevent the spread of COVID-19, especially at the Inhil Police.
The swab test activity was held in collaboration with the Inhil District Health Office. Located at the Police Headquarters Hall.
AKBP Dian Setyawan said the swab test was carried out for personnel carrying out service duties. Where they are personnel who are at the forefront of police service to the community.
Dian conveyed that the swab test was carried out to determine the health condition of personnel in the service function. He hoped that the personnel assigned to service to the community are in good health and are not exposed to Covid-19.
“In this implementation, about 50 personnel underwent the swab test. We will carry out it again in stages so that all officers in the service function can be examined, “he explained.
He also added for the swab test results are expected to be known in the next five days. Later the results will be sent to the health office after examination in the laboratory.
“We hope, no one of our personnel is positive for Covid-19. But if there are members who are positive for Covid-19, we will implement safety procedures in collaboration with the Health Service and Tembilahan Hospital for isolation, treatment is carried out so that it does not spread, we will do tracking for the closest family,” explained the police chief.
He also appealed to members of the National Police, especially for Inhil Police, who are in contact with the community, to carry out their duties to adhere to health protocols.
“Please adhere the health protocols when carrying out tasks such as wearing masks, washing hands regularly, and always maintaining a distance,” he said.
