The Regent of Siak, Alfedri inaugurated the Regional Secretary (Sekda) and three Primary Officials in the Siak Regency Government.
The event took place in the Meeting Room of Raja Indra Pahlawan on Tuesday, Sept. 8, 2020.
This inauguration is in accordance with the Decree of the Siak Regent’s Decree dated September 7, 2020 Number 188 / HK / KPTS / 2020 and refers to the Regulation of the Minister of State Apparatus Empowerment and Bureaucratic Reform (MenPAN-RB) number 13/2014 regarding filling positions openly within government agencies.
In his speech, Alfedri thanked Mr. Jamaluddin for his dedication during his tenure as Acting Regional Secretary of Siak.
“Thank you to Mr. Jamaluddin who has carried out his duties as Acting Secretary of the Regional Secretary, and congratulation to Mr. Tengku Said Hamzah who has entered his full term of duty,” said Alfedri.
Alfedri explained that the appointment of Arfan Usman as a Regional secretary had passes a selection process by a team that appointed in accordance with applicable regulations.
This process indeed seems very long because it is in the position of implementing the Pilkada simultaneously.
Furthermore, the process of filling the position of Regional Secretary has been carried out since last April 2020, with the approval of the Ministry of Home Affairs.
“For the new regional secretary, your tough task awaits. I hope, this task can be able to carry out as well as possible. And can to be able to align the Siak district with more developed areas, “he said.
He explained, the Regional Secretary as a manager in the government, will be running the administration, and the wheels of government in Siak.
And also to ensure staffing development is in accordance with applicable regulations, and how to implement services for the community running well.
Also implement the policies and strategic development programs, encouraging regional competitiveness and excellence.
Before, Arfan Usman served as Head of the Information and Communication Service. And he was appointed as a Regional Secretary.
While the three leaders of the Primary High Leadership Officers, for the Head of the Office of Occupation and Civil Registry held by Hasmizal, who was formerly as the Head of the Siak District Police Department.
And the Head of the Regional Finance Agency (BKD) Muzammil.
The head of Social Service was occupied by Wan Idris who was formerly the Secretary of the Siak District Social Service.
