In connection buying drugs for her boyfriend (a famous actor in India named Sushant Singh Rajput), a Bollywood actress was arrested on Tuesday by India’s Narcotics Control Bureau.
Before, the death of that actor is said for suicide. Rajput, 34-year-old found dead in his apartment in Mumbai on June 14, 2020.
But from the investigation, the actress named Rhea Chakraborty, Chakraborty’s brother named Showik, and Rajput’s former house manager, Samuel Miranda, have also been arrested in the same investigation.
They has been charged in connection to the death of Rajput. Rajput’s family has accused Chakraborty of abetting his suicide by getting him addicted to drugs.
Chakraborty has denied any involvement. But the Narcotics Control Bureau argued in court that Chakraborty was a member of a drug syndicate and procured drugs for Rajput, as cited News24xx.com from The Tribune.
