The Police Sector (Polsek) of Indragiri Hilir, Riau on Thursday, Sept. 10, 2020, has distributed 10,400 masks.
AKBP Dian Setyawan explained that these activities were carried out by the Indonesian National Police simultaneously to prevent the spread and stop the transmission of COVID-19 in Indonesia.
At the activity that centered at the Air Mancur Market, Jendral Sudirman street in Tembilahan, also held a Handwashing Campaign, Keeping Distance, and Avoiding Crowds according to health protocols.
“I hope to motivate the communities to unite in the movement to wear masks. The goal is to eradicate the transmission of COVID-19,” Dian said.
A total of 10,400 pieces of masks were distributed. The target distribution of masks was traders, buyers, visitors, and motorists who do not wear masks.
