The name Isabella Guzman, who was once tried for murdering her biological mother, suddenly went viral on social media.
The video of him smiling during the trial has been circulating in recent days. In fact, the case trial took place in 2013.
As reported by CNN, September 5, 2013, the girl from the state of Colorado, United States is facing charges of first degree murder.
Guzman is accused of stabbing his mother 79 times in the face and neck in their home bathroom.
The girl whose full name is Isabella Yun-Mi Guzman (18) was detained without bail in Arapahoe Prison on August 28, 2013 for stabbing her mother, Yun-Mi Hoy (47) to death.
The teen’s stepfather, Ryan Hoy, told authorities that Guzman and her mother had been fighting a lot, but that Guzman spat in her mother’s face.
It became “more threatening and disrespectful of her mother” in the days leading up to the murder.

The e-mail prompted Yun-Mi Hoy to call the police that day and ask them to come to his house because her daughter threatened to harm his wife.
After speaking with Yun-Mi Hoy and Guzman, the police officer who came to respond decided there was “an ongoing family problem between them and appears to have been resolved,” according to court documents.
Ryan Hoy told authorities that after the police officers left, Guzman went to her bedroom and remained there all night while her mother returned to work.
When Yun-Mi Hoy arrived home at around 9:30 p.m., Ryan Hoy told her to go upstairs to take a shower.
He then “heard a thud coming from upstairs and his wife called out his name,” according to the affidavit.
Hoy told authorities that when he tried to open the bathroom door, Guzman pushed him with his back to keep it closed.
Hoy said he then went downstairs, called 911 and told the operator that “his wife and daughter were in the bathroom and he could see blood flowing from under the door to the bathroom.”
When the police arrived home, they found Yun-Mi Hoy’s naked body lying on the bathroom floor with multiple cuts and stab wounds.
She was pronounced dead at the scene at 10:28 pm local time.
An autopsy showed she had 31 stab wounds to the face and 48 stab wounds to the neck.
Guzman was arrested in a parking garage by Aurora city police.
Although initially charged with first degree murder, the court ultimately found Guzman not guilty due to her mental condition.
She was sent to the Colorado Institute of Mental Health in Pueblo because her diagnosis stated that she had paranoid schizophrenia.
