Yondu’s actor in the Guardians of the Galaxy film, Michael Rooker, actually had COVID-19.
The illness forced him to isolate himself in an Airstream trailer.
“Many of you don’t know, since the last few months, I have been battling COVID-19.
Let me tell you, my fight is quite tough, “said Rooker as reported by AceShowbiz.
Fortunately, Michael Rooker has now been declared cured of COVID-19.
He has tested negative.
“My body has won that battle! COVID-19 gave a great fight, but in the end my immune system was able to win,” he said.
Rooker also admitted that he could recover by himself from COVID-19.
He did not take medication or receive any special treatment from doctors.
“I decided not to take drugs, vitamins, or supplements. I believe my immune system can win, without the help of drugs that can damage my kidneys and heart,” said Rooker.
“Every day I check my body condition.
I felt very unwell, almost died.
But, all can be passed in the end, “he continued.
Because it has been confirmed negative, Michael Rooker can now return to live at home.
