Minister of State-Owned Enterprises (BUMN) and Chairman of the Committee for Handling Covid-19 and National Economic Recovery (KPCPEN) Erick Thohir said that every country in the world is struggling to find the right formula in dealing with the Covid-19 pandemic.
According to him, from the beginning what had to be addressed was from health, just trying to revive the economy.
“This roadmap that we are doing is clear, it is impossible for us to expect (economic) growth if we don’t finish the COVID because this is clear how health is the key,” said Erick Thohir at the 63rd Anniversary of Universitas Padjadjaran (UNPAD) virtually, Friday, September 11, 2020.
Erick Thohir said the current pandemic has complex difficulties.
So that the handling of health, as well as the economy, is not easy to describe.
According to him, all countries are also struggling to find a formula for handling their respective problems.
With such conditions, said Erick Thohir, no one should blame each other, instead, it must be used as a momentum to unite for the nation’s awakening.
So that in the future, Indonesia can become solid and independent in facing similar problems in the future.
