Kim Kardashian West announced the decision in a statement via her Instagram account.
On her social media, she said that the final season will air in early 2021.
She expressed her gratitude to longtime fan of the show, E! television network and production team.
“After 14 years, 20 seasons, hundreds of episodes, and many spinoff shows, we are very grateful to all of you who have watched us over these years – through good times, bad times, happiness, tears. , and lots of relationships and children, “said Kim.
“This show made us who we are and I will forever be indebted to everyone who played a role in shaping our careers and changing our lives forever,” she added.
The new season will premiere on September 17, 2020.
A spokesperson from E! also said that “Although this is an absolute privilege and we will miss them with all our hearts, we respect the family’s decision to live their lives without our cameras,” according to CNN.
