After months of banning the wedding ceremonies and cultural events in an attempt to contain the spread of the coronavirus, the government of Egypt will allow it to be held in open-air venues from Sept. 21, 2020.
As cited News24xx.com from Aljazeera on Tuesday, Sept. 15, 2020, the open-air weddings would be allowed in tourist and hotel facilities but with a maximum of 300 invitees, and they should be obtained health safety certificates.
The cabinet said in a statement, meetings, and conferences with not more than 150 participants. Then, cultural exhibitions, including book fairs, would be allowed in open-air venues with a maximum attendance of 50 percent of capacity.
