On Monday, Sept. 14, 2020, Amazon, one of the biggest online shopping centers in the world announced that it will be hiring 100,000 new associates.
It is shown, retail remains promising although the unemployment numbers remain dismal.
Dave Clark, Senior Vice President of Worldwide Operations at Amazon, said in a statement, “We are opening 100 buildings this month alone across new fulfillment and sortation centers, delivery stations, and other sites.”
Mr. Clark explained that their expansion also comes with an unwavering commitment to safety.
“As collectively, our new team members have already completed more than 1,200,000 hours of safety training.”
And Amazon also ensures that in addition to fast and efficient delivery for its customers, and providing a safe and modern environment for employees and partners.
