Prabowo Subianto’s nephew, Rahayu Saraswati Djojohadikusumo, was appointed Deputy General Chairperson (Waketum) of the Gerindra Party for the 2020-2025 period.
This was disclosed by Gerindra Deputy Director General, Sufmi Dasco Ahmad.
Initially, Dasco dismissed the news that Rahayu was infected with Covid-19.
He said, currently Rahayu is undergoing an orientation period to become Deputy Head of Gerindra.
“Regarding the issue of the candidate for deputy mayor of South Tangerang, Saudari Rahayu Saraswati Djojohadikusumo, who is said to have Covid-19, we need to convey that the news is not true,” Dasco told reporters, Tuesday (15 Spetember 2020).
That way, said Dasco, this denies the news that Hashim Djojohadikusumo’s daughter has Covid-19.
Rahayu Saraswati previously served as Chair of the Women’s Advocacy Division in the Gerindra Party management for the 2015-2020 period.
She has also been a member of the DPR for the 2014-2019 period.
Gerindra has also held a congress and submitted the party management structure for the 2020-2025 period to the Ministry of Law and Human Rights.
Before the new structure was legal, currently there are only two official Gerindra administrators, namely Prabowo Subianto as General Chairperson and Ahmad Muzani as Secretary General.
