After two Myanmar nationals were diagnosed with the COVID-19 in Ruili on Sunday, Sept. 13, 2020, the government of Ruili will begin nucleic acid testing of 200,000 residents.
The southwestern Chinese city of Riuli lies on the border with Myanmar.
As cited News24xx.com from Japan Today, the two patients are both from Myanmar and entered China illegally.
In that case, they have been isolated in the hospital along with five others. And also, some 190 close contacts of the two have also been put in isolation at home or in the hospital.
The government also decided to lockdown and all residents told to stay at home.
