After giving directions to the Health Centre’s cadres in the Kandis District regarding the implementation of the Health Protocols during the New Normal period, the Regent of Siak Alfedri and his entourage continued their activity to see the construction of the Bioflok Pool that located in Kampung Libo Jaya.
Alfedri appreciates all parties including the Government of Libo Jaya Village and the Karya Mandiri Jaya Berkah Cooperative in Libo Jaya Village.
“Thank God, the construction of the Biofloc Pond which is assistance from the Ministry of Maritime Affairs and Fisheries was built in Libo Jaya Village, Siak Regency,” said Alfedri.
Alfedri also advised being able to maintain, organize funds to run the Bioflok Pond management as best as possible.
“This Biofloc pond can be harvested in 3 months with 30,000 seeds. The price of 1 kilo is about IDR 20 thousand for six fish. So, it can give a profit of around IDR 100 million. That’s why it must be maintained properly,” Alfedri added.
Alfedri said, to set aside capital for the next maintenance period, such as seeds and pellets.
“After getting a profit, don’t forget to set aside the capital for the next maintenance period. So the Biofloc pond can continue to produce”, he ordered.
The Head of the Fisheries and Livestock Service Office, Susilawati, said that the Biofloc pool is assistance from the Ministry of Maritime Affairs and Fisheries, which will be managed by the Karya Mandiri Jaya Berkah cooperative in Kampung Libo Jaya.
“For the construction of this Bioflok pond, we get from the struggle of the Regent. And the Siak Regency got 1 Bioflok pond construction in Kampung Libo Jaya”, said Susi.
The Biofloc Pond assistance from the Ministry of Marine Affairs and Fisheries consists of 10 Biofloc ponds and its equipment, 30,000 catfish seeds, 12 tons of fish feed, water machines, raptor water, and other supporting drugs.
