A 13 year old boy in Thailand died after his teacher forced him to do 100 squat jumps as punishment for not doing his homework.
According to The Nation, the unidentified boy fell ill on August 31 and was rushed to hospital on September 2.
The next day, he returned to school.
While he was in the hospital, he was unable to finish his homework.
As a result, his teacher insisted that he should be punished even though he had good reasons for not being able to do his job.
His teacher forced him to do 100 squat jumps.
On September 4, the boy fell ill again.
He also rested early, however, the next day he did not wake up again.
The doctor said that the boy died in his sleep at around 3am due to heart damage.
It is still uncertain what condition the boy was in or what illness he had before returning to school.
After this tragic incident, the school tried to contact the boy’s family.
They apologized for what happened and took full responsibility for his death.
