Pixelmator Pro is already homemade on the Mac.
Pixelmator Pro comes with a major update that adds support for AppleScript on the Mac, enabling all kinds of app automation.
As detailed by Pixelmator, new support for Applescript will enable features like the following:
Over 60 application-specific commands with all standard AppleScript terminology. • “Face Detection”, “QR Code Detection” and “Text Replacement” for creating automation commands such as powerful and versatile scripts. Full support for scripting functions supported by the core MLS (such as ML Super Resolution, ML Enhance, ML Denoys, and more)
Andrius Gailiunas of the Pixelmator team says the company has worked with Salgogian, who was Apple’s product manager for AppleScript, to bring automation to life with Pixelmator Pro.
“For this update, we teamed up with Sail Soghian, a veteran user automation expert who has worked as a product manager at Automation Technologies for more than 20 years, including AppleScript and Automator. As much as possible, Ho has led us in our endeavor to build strong and full-featured AS support!”
Soghoian says AppleScript’s support for Pixelmator Pro on the Mac is “a game-changer.”
“AppleScript Support Pro in Pixelmator is a game-changer, which makes this amazing app an essential component of everyone’s workflow. Whether you’re running or writing scripts, the depth and scope of AppleScript automation in Pixelmator Pro works great. Kudos to the Pixelmator team for their commitment and service to the Mac community.”
