As cited News24xx.com from Japan News, a caregiver at a nursing home arrested after using a vacuum cleaner on the resident’s hair.
The 41-year-old male that worked as a caregiver at a nursing home in Takamatsu City, Kagawa Prefecture allegedly used a vacuum cleaner to an 86-year-old female resident’s hair last year.
The man named Hiromi Takato, who was arrested by police on Saturday, Sept 19, 2020. But, he has denied the allegation.
From the investigation, the police said that Takato placed a vacuum cleaner near the woman’s head while she was sitting in the cafeteria in April 2019.
It sucked in part of her hair but the woman was not injured. The incident came to light when the nursing home operator consulted with the authorities on Sept 18, 2020.
At that place, several employees and elderly residents were in the cafeteria when the assault occurred.
And not only that, the officers also said they have received accounts from other residents that Takato has mistreated them on occasions.
